Sofia Winternell has over 15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, and engineering, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. Since June 2024, she has been leading the procurement and supply chain division, building on her role as Head of Procurement from May 2023 to June 2024. Prior to this, she spent two years at BAE Systems Hägglunds, where she headed the Engineering Section for External Development, overseeing critical projects in advanced manufacturing.
Sofia’s expertise also includes business development in the biofuels sector, having worked for over five years in this field, where she played a key role in fostering sustainable transport solutions. Earlier in her career, she gained significant experience at BAE Systems Hägglunds in various managerial roles, including program and project management, and project controlling.
Her leadership in supply chain transformation, with a focus on green chemistry and bio-based solutions, positions her as a driving force in fostering sustainable practices in modern industries.
