Peter Wilms leads Umicore Battery Material’s carbon reduction program that aims for carbon neutrality by 2035 whilst significantly expanding its global manufacturing capacity. He started his career in consulting, helping chemicals and oil and gas clients with their product stewardship and regulatory compliance challenges. The past 7 years, he has worked in industry on topics of regulatory/government affairs and broader sustainability strategy and transformation. Peter holds a Master in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management from the University of Leuven.
