Since beginning 2015, Mirko Lampe is Strategic Marketing Manager for Enterprise Mobility at the BARTEC Group. In this role, Mirko is responsible for the global strategic marketing and works as specialist for IIOT solution and digitalization for hazardous environments. His global focus as consultant on customers in the Chemical, Petrochemical and O&G sector is driven by the need of rising efficiency, security and transparency.
Before taking over his role at the BARTEC Group, Mirko worked 10 years for the Siemens AG. During this period, he held various positions in different corners of the globe, starting in Business Development, moving on to application engineer and finally leaving Siemens as Head of Marketing and Communications for utility-scale solar plants.
Mirko started his professional career as electrician and holds a Bachelor’s degree Information and Communication Technologies and a Diploma in International Business and International Marketing. He has two kids at the age of 7 and 13 and lives in Potsdam, Germany.

The aspect of my job I find most interesting is the ability to bring industry best practice to the conservative hazardous environment industry – means, developing game changing solutions – digitalization vs. pen and paper!
