Gesche Weger is a dynamic entrepreneur and economist with a diverse professional background spanning over a decade. She is the CEO and Co-Founder of Packwise GmbH, a company she established in January 2017, based in the Dresden area, Germany. Under her leadership, Packwise has grown into a prominent player in its industry over the past seven years.
Before founding Packwise, Weger worked as a freelance business consultant in Cheshire, England, from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, she gained significant experience at UBS in Zurich, Switzerland, where she held various roles as an economist from 2010 to 2013. Her work at UBS included positions in market risk project management and thematic research.
Weger's career began with internships and research positions at prestigious institutions such as Munich Re, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, and the Freie Universität Berlin. She also gained early experience as an intern at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., in 2007.
