Martin Landherr has some deep insights in the field of cyber-physical systems and digitizing manufacturing systems. After finishing his doctoral studies in the field of integrated configuration of prod ucts and manufacturing systems he was responsible for the successful development and operation of the Application Center Industry 4.0 at the Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart. In parallel, he accompanied several companies digitizing their production as an international consultant. Today Dr. Landherr is heading the Industrial Engineering at Festool, taking care of the transformation of the global production in the digital age.
