Mr. Rizwan Malik, a seasoned professional with a rich experience of over 20 years in the fertilizer and petrochemical manufacturing industries of Pakistan working as General Manager Manufacturing Digital Transformation at Engro Corporation Ltd. As a distinguished control system engineer, in his organziation he has made significant contributions in deployment and maintenance of globally acclaimed control systems in chemical and fertilizer manufacturing. His journey, started from a lead engineer and progressing to team lead, culminated in his role as a leader managing the controls systems and electrical power generation and distribution departments of a captive power plant at Engro Coporation Ltd. His expertise extends beyond engineering, encompassing strategic roles in supply chain management, where he adeptly handled maintenance, repair, and operation inventories for a prominent petrochemical complex. In his capacity as a Project Manager for SAP material management, plant maintenance management, and quality management modules, he showcased his multifaceted skills from the client side. A visionary collaborator, he worked with Human Resources to spearhead the development and launch of performance management systems developed in collaboration with Mckinsey. His strategic collaboration with McKinsey resulted in the formulation of a capital investment framework for the group companies of Engro Corporation Ltd. Currently, at the helm of the manufacturing digital transformation, steering the evolution of fertilizer, petrochemical, chemical storage, and energy verticals at Engro Corporation Ltd. Simultaneously, serving as a program manager for operational technology cybersecurity risk management, showcasing commitment to advancing industry standards. Armed with a robust educational background, including a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. Certified as a functional safety professional, Six Sigma Green Belt, and operational technology cybersecurity fundamentals specialist. Also completed a leadership development program from the Center of Creative Leadership (colorado Springs, USA) which further enhanced strategic leadership capabilities.
